Un birthday Party
We had great fun and it didn't seem hot to us at all! I'll try to get pictures to post this weekend. Sorry if you missed it! We played pick a duck, fished for prizesm blew bubbles, had 2 water ballon fights and even a water gun fights! We didn't even make it up to the playground equipment. Honestly an hour and a half went bye and I didn't even notice!
I'll be back Mid July and have more activities. I'm looking at Anderson Dairy, Bounce U, touring the fire station, The dinosaur park again !

We are going to meet at the park next to O' Callaghan Middle school
Let's meet at 9 am to 10:30ish, if you need to leave early that's fine!
I'm looking for a few mom's to run a few games.

I also have water balloons- I'm checking to see if there is acess to water at the park or if I need help filling balloons.
Please bring clothes to get wet, towels, a snack to share and plenty of fluids to drink.

Who's gotten 51's tickets.
Just wondering who all has gotten their 51's tickets. I have to get mine on Monday!

Bus ride to Sam's town
Details for the bus ride to the strip.
We are going to eat at the Sam's Town Buffet (you don't have to my kids think it's Ratioulle's. They are easily ammused). If you'd like to join us let us know. It's like $6.00 for adults. My kids are free I'm not sure the age older kids are around$4.00
Now for the REAL FUN!
We will meet at the sams town bus stop. This is in the back. We will take the 10:25 am bus. So be ther around 10:15ish.
We will ride to Tropicana and then go see the Lions, M & M world, Coke World and eat snack at food court (Feel free to bring your own lunch/ snack) . We'll take the bus to arrive back at Sam's Town at 2:25pm.
Feel free to just meet us down at MGM if your not up for the bus ride. I know my kids love it. My kids do this trip with thier Tutu all the time for fun.
Please let me know if you are coming.
We missed most of you last week at the Dinosaur park. We'll do it again in late summer so our Friends from AZ can come down. Hunter found Turtles, I had forgotten were there! I must say getting there early is the key, I got a great table in the shade.
I'll try to upload pictures soon. Busy working the Baby expo. It was great to see a few or you ther today! Thanks for the support!

Dinosaur park
Ok let's try this again
Tueday. Meet at the park unless you need to follow me. The directions I use are:
15 norht ( I get on at Lamb) to 215 go the only way you can go. Left
To ALiante parkway. turn left.
The park is on your left you'll see it.
Don't forget.
dry clothes, towels, sand toys, sun screen, snacks, food for the ducks and Water.
We'll try to save a picnic table if we get there early enough. Come any time! I need to leave by 11:30 but, you can stay as long as you'd like!

Henderson Libraries are looking for a few good bookworms to “Catch the Reading Bug” as the 2008 Summer Reading Program begins Saturday, June 14. The Libraries’ annual program offers incentives for children reading independently and those who are read-to by adults. Additionally, the libraries offer “Metamorphosis @ Your Library” for teens and “Don’t Bug Me, I’m Reading” for adults.
The Summer Reading Program lasts from June 14 through August 9 and library events are planned all summer long including a special kick-off event with a “Bounce House,” and several children’s activities at 9 a.m. on June 14 at the Paseo Verde (280 S. Green Valley Parkway) and at 12 p.m. at the James I. Gibson (280 S. Water Street) branches of the library. A similar event is planned at 2 p.m. at the Lydia Malcolm branch – located at 2960 Sunridge Heights Parkway – on June 13.
Las Vegas-Clark County Library District Summer Reading 2008, Club Read! June 1-July 31 is the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District's Summer Reading Program. Visit their website for more details.
The Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program has also begun. Children entering grades 1-6 can participate in this program.
1. Kids read any 8 books. 2. Kids use the Summer Reading Journal to tell us their favorite part of each book. A parent/guardian signs it when it's complete. 3. Children bring their completed journal to a Barnes & Noble store between May 29th & September 2nd, 2008. 4. We'll give them a coupon for a FREE book! They choose from a list of exceptional paperback titles.
Make sure you check out our Children's Book Reviews...you can sort by type, category or age and can read both an overview and critique of all the books. You may get some great ideas for titles and authors you would like your kids to read!

There is shaded areas and picnic tables. They have a small play ground and a large one. A water thing. I think it's a dinosaur too that that kids can run thru and get wet. They also have a huge sand box where you can dig for dinosaur bones (you'll need to bring your own shovels).
DOn't forget we also have enrichment that night at 6:30!
