Summer 09 first activity!

I'm sorry to report that June activites will have to take place in the afternoons as I've taken an summer school job ;(

But I will have activities in July and August.

I'll still post things to do!

so for the time change

Our first activity for this summer will be

June 10th at 3pm.

We will be going to the dinosaur park( Aliante Parkway and 215.)

Things to bring:

• swim suit
• towel
• sun lotion
• water
• bread to feed the ducks
• change of clothes
• snacks depends on how long you plan to stay
• sand toys.

** You are free to come whenever you want I will probably only stay for a few hours, to much sun makes me sick**

Free Fishing Day

Another FREE activity.

the 2nd Saturday in June 13th is Free Fishing Day. see NDOW for some additional information.

Take your kids to your favorite fishing spot and have a splash.

I know my kids go up North and always come home with new poles, bags and all kinds of goodies. Clarissa won 2nd place in her division last year and won a $100 Bass Pro gift card. She put it to good use buying princess crocks. and then traded her dad for zoo spending money.

Lake Mead is included in this activity. or head North to your favorite spot.

Free Movies

They're back Free movies from Regal!

Yes, it's true Regal cinemas offers Free movies check out thier schedule.

They begin June 16th and are on Tuesdays and Wednesday at 10 am

I'm sure I'll include a few in group activities.

It’s a fun-filled nine weeks of movies for kids and parents. Since 1991, Regal has provided this service to the community, and best of all it’s FREE!
Selected G & PG movies start at 10AM each Tuesday and Wednesday during the festival. First-come, first-served seating is limited to theatre capacity. The Free Family Film Festival is safe, lots of fun and a great way for kids to spend a weekday morning in the summer.
Tickets for our 2009 Free Family Film Festival are exclusively available at select theatres’ box office on the day of the show.

It's almost Summer fun group 2009 time.

I'm trying to make a list of things to do. I found this site with some ideas. More to come, give me yours I'm open to some new ideas.

One idea for this year is to meet on different days and maybe more than once a week. Let me know what you think.
